All the villagers in Christmas Village believe Dr. Frankincense to be an evil, mad scientist. So this Christmas, Dr. Frankincense decides to invent the ultimate holiday gift--the Christmas Monster. Sadly, the villagers once again believe he has committed a crime against Christmas, and he’s dragged into the Supreme Court of Christmas (Judge Jack Frost presiding) to defend himself.

Edgar Allan Poe’s famous short story, “The Fall of the House of Usher,” gets turned upside down in this sequel . . . of sorts! Far from the Gothic mood of the original story, this is a broad comedy-mystery with a little bit of the macabre thrown in for fun. A group of strangers has been called together on this dark and stormy night by a mysterious host for a reading by Poe. One by one, they all disappear. It’s all deliciously spooky as lightning flashes, pendulums, and poisoned tea raise the play’s tension and dark humor.
